Hey there! I’m Akshita, and just like many of you, I started out with the classic "dream" path—graduated from SRCC, landed a corporate job, and thought I had it all figured out. But… something didn’t quite click. Then, while working from home during the pandemic, I finally found time to indulge in something I actually loved: SKINCARE.

 

At first, I turned to the good old ghar ke nuskhe my nani and dadi used to swear by.  Then, I splurged on beauty products, hoping they’d be the miracle my dry skin was begging for. Spoiler alert: the products made little to no difference. That’s when I discovered a life-changing truth: most skincare brands use water as a cheap filler that does almost nothing for your skin, or the planet!

 

And this is how I found my purpose: creating skincare that nourishes your skin AND respects our planet. Earning a Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation from Formula Botanica was the first step in gaining the knowledge (and credentials!) to turn my passion into something truly impactful.

 

Now, here I am, doing what I love— spreading the message that beauty doesn’t just mean glowing skin, it means glowing with purpose.

If you told me a few years ago that I’d be working in skincare, I’d have laughed. Hard. The very word “skincare” used to give me a headache (and massive breakouts thanks to ultra-sensitive skin!). But during the pandemic, my sister changed everything. She forced me to join her for some simple home remedies, and—spoiler alert—they didn’t suck. Slowly, she got me using products she’d made herself, just a couple of steps that worked!

 

Fast forward to my steady life working in London, when it hit me: my sister had created something extraordinary. She wasn’t just making products; she was changing the game for people like me—people who want fuss-free skincare that doesn’t make their skin cry. As the demand for her products grew, so did my belief that I had to leave my job, return to India, and help her spread the word about this amazing, no-nonsense approach to skincare.

 

Now, here I am, fully on board and ready to spread the magic of Skin B.e.e. My promise? As someone with probably the most sensitive skin ever, I’ll make sure we continue to create products that are gentle, simple, and so good, they might just convert a skincare skeptic like you.

Our super dry and uncooperative skin had us on a mission to create products that actually worked—no frills, no fluff, just results. Then something magical happened: friends started noticing. “What’s your secret?” they’d ask. Word spread, jars flew off the shelves, and just like that, Skin B.e.e. started buzzing (literally). 

 

That’s when it hit us: why not turn our passion into a brand? That’s how Skin B.e.e. was born—with the simple mission to bring the skincare we love and trust to YOU. Today, we’re backed by an incredible family of Skin B.e.e-lievers who swear by our products, and honestly, we couldn’t have done it without YOU.
